Pricing Structure Builder

Use this guide to set up your quoting prices in CleanQuote. You create and edit pricing structures at the org level, then assign which structure each tool uses in Tool Settings → Pricing Structure. You can build pricing manually or import from an Excel file.

1. Where to find the Pricing Builder

  1. In CleanQuote, go to DashboardPricing (org-level). Here you create and edit pricing structures.
  2. To edit a structure: open it and use the Builder (manual or import). The structure name can be edited on the edit page by clicking the pencil next to the name, then typing and saving.
  3. To have a tool use a structure: go to DashboardTools → your tool → Settings, then in the Pricing Structure card select which structure that tool uses.

2. Two ways to build your pricing

Option A: Build manually

  1. Click Build Pricing Structure.
  2. Click Add Tier or Create Your First Pricing Tier.
  3. For each tier, set the Square footage range (min and max, e.g. 0–1500, 1501–2000).
  4. Enter price ranges for each service: Weekly, Bi-Weekly, 4 Week, General, Deep, Move In/Out Basic, Move In/Out Deep. Use formats like $135-$165 or $1,000-$1,200.
  5. Add more tiers as needed.
  6. Click Save Pricing Structure.

Option B: Import from Excel

  1. Click Import from Excel.
  2. Download the pricing template to see the expected format.
  3. Your Excel file must have a sheet named Sheet1, a header row, and price ranges in formats like $55-$75 or $1150 - $1350.
  4. Column headers: SqFt Range (e.g. "Less Than 1500", "1501-2000"), Weekly, Bi-Weekly, 4 Week, General, Deep, Move in/out BASIC, Move in/out FULL.
  5. Choose your Excel file and upload. The system parses it and stores the pricing.

3. Multipliers (per structure)

Each pricing structure has its own Multipliers settings. The page is split into two groups so related settings stay together.

Intensity multiplier (first group)

The first section—shown in a bordered box—controls intensity pricing: charging more when the home is dirtier or the first clean is heavier. Set:

  • Intensity multiplier — e.g. 1.5 = 50% more for the intensity price. Use 1 for no extra charge.
  • Home conditions requiring Intensity multiplier — Check the conditions (e.g. Poor, Very Poor) where you require intensity pricing. On the quote result, leads see a clear “required first service” message and the intensity price.
  • Home conditions recommending Intensity multiplier — Check conditions where you recommend (but don’t require) intensity pricing. Leads see a softer “recommended” message.

If no conditions are selected for requiring or recommending, the quote still shows the intensity price when the lead picks a one-time or initial-style service; it just won’t show the “required” or “recommended” callout for recurring services.

People & pet multipliers (second group)

Below the intensity section you’ll see People & pet multipliers. These adjust the base price by household size and shedding pets (e.g. base count at regular rate, then a multiplier per extra person or pet). They apply to all quote calculations, not only intensity.

4. How pricing is used

Quotes use the customer's square footage to pick the right tier from the structure assigned to the tool. People and pet multipliers (from this structure or the tool’s config) are applied to the base price. When the lead’s home condition matches your requiring or recommending intensity conditions, the quote shows the intensity price and the corresponding “required” or “recommended” first-service message. Addresses outside your maximum tier show an out-of-limits message instead of a price.

5. Viewing your structure

Click View Structure to see all tiers and prices in a table. Use Edit Pricing to change them.

Quick tips

  • Save your multiplier settings with Save multipliers before switching to View Structure or Import.
  • You can set intensity and multipliers per pricing structure, or (for some setups) per tool under Tool Settings → Pricing.
  • To have a tool use this structure, go to Dashboard → Tools → [your tool] → Settings and choose this structure in the Pricing Structure card.
